Nice. Is it just me, or do the rims on the new 7 suck? Yeah, you can upgrade for $6500 to something nicer. I'll be pulling mine.

When I was in Dingolfing in 2006, they said the the biggest market for 760s is China. Sales will actually be about double - since BMWs in China are about twice the amount (or more) than in the USA. But in terms of sales volume, I wouldn't be surprised if China easily eclipsed the US for at least 2 reasons:

1. China is much more image conscious than the USA
2. The 750i is such a strong performing car that there is less need for a 760i in practical terms

I'm surprise the US is still at par with the Chinese when it comes to BMW 7 series sales. China now has more millions and bigger middle class more than the US so i can only see them eclipsing the US more and more.

BMW is also milking this. The price of the 7ers and Rolls Royce Phantoms goes up insanely in China but sales are still up.

I was watching a documentary that Tom Purves did with the Discovery Channel and he mentioned how almost every Rolls Royce Phantom that goes to China is custom build to the customer requirement (not to mention the price also goes up)

Yep...i saw the 7 series and Phantom prices in China and i almost collapsed. Over $200,000.00 for a 750i. But i guess the same goes for gas prices in Euro. Their per liter price is expensive compare to our per gallon price.

That's why i don't understand how GM could ever file for bankruptcy in the US. GM sell more cars in China and India than any other automobile company. Plus GM cars are also expensive in China compare to their US prices.

No wonder everyone is looking at China to bounce back from this economic slump...too many Chinese with too much money and turning into Americans...spend baby...spend :-)

Man that white 7er looks great in those pics and that engine is a MONSTER...... I would love to get my hands on that V12 baby.

The big difference in China is the limited access to personal credit for most things other than real estate. So unless you get your BMW/car through work, you are generally paying cash.

Imagine how big the market will be once they start offering credit?
