Damn..............

The remote that comes with my X5 has some really good range on it. I've never owned a remote that works from so far away.

You can also double the range of your remote if you hold it to you chin. This really works.

My friend tried this trick with the keyless remote for his Jeep Grand Chrokee and it worked just fine. But, it really shouldnt matter where as long as it touches your head right?
