the hose on the back of the reserve tank
where the does the little hose on the back of the reserve tank connect to?
mine bri=oke and was leaking fluid but i cant see where the hose connects to? please help 1985 bmw 535i |

That is over flow show it will leak when there is to much fluid.

so it dosent connect to anything? because when it broke it leaked all the fluid out of the tank untill it was empty

That small hose, that one connects to the top of the radiator on the drivers side. it is right next to the big hose that is on top.

If you are talking about the cooling system expansion tank, it has two hose connections: the one facing to the front connects to the radiator top side and the back one is the pressure bleeder hose. If the front one broke off you will need a new expansion tank. The one on the back shouldn't be leaking coolant at all times. If you do your radiator cap is bad so replace it.
