The more I look at the X6 the less I like it, its just too large

I am warming up to it myself. I wasn't crazy about it before. But I can now see driving one soon.

I advise you to drive one before making judgements.

It is kind of like the M coupe, or Z cars, bloated buttness but they drive wonderfully.

I personally like the X6 better than the current 3 or 5 series. Nice cup holders, real storage in the cabin/console, a spare tire, 22MPG highway, etc.

My local dealer can't keep them in stock.

I like the X6 so much I bought one.

I think the X6 is a good looking car it's something different than all the other cookie cutter cars out there

Didn't like the X6 until I saw one on the showroom floor. Pretty nice vehicle. If I was in the market for a SUVish vehicle, I'd consider it. A bit pricey...

Beautiful ride. When the X6 came out folks did not know what to think. Now, there seems to be a large base of support.

I wonder how many X6s they have sold? I hardly ever see one on the road around here and we are awash in high end iron. In fact, I just saw my fourth Tesla electric sports car in traffic and have only seen one X6 since it was introduced.

For 2008 I read that only 40k units would be produced. Much of those would go overseas.

They are commanding full retail for the X6 overseas so it makes more sense to sell most outside of the U.S.

It is a pretty exclusive vehicle. The 6 series, which is rare, is around 80k units per year globally.

In the silicon vally I suspect most are unemployed or over leveraged, or upside on their homes to worry about X6's. California is sucking swamp water overall. there are however, a bunch of X6's running around San Diego and LA. They might have stole all the allocation.

Maybe so, but they still have enough disposable income to build McMansions and fill the parking lot with Lambos, big Benz's, Maserati's, and other assorted high end iron. I suspect most of the upside down is centered in the Central Valley with a little on the fringes of the valley here. I have noticed very few bread lines and it is still hard to get a parking place in the malls. Still no X6's though.
