2006 x3 nav cd upgrade?
can i upgrade just the cd for the nav system via buy online or from dealer or download updates or something cause the disc i have is from 05???? or is it even possible to put a the new dvd in there?

I'm sure the BMW Service Centre will have the updated discs and charge you an arm and a leg for them.

look around - you can upgrade OS and get a new maps. ( for free) BUt you will have to carefully read a few pages of the info.
Both OS and Navi - su$ regardless of the version. I have a pioneer N2 - same year and it's by far superior system to bmw crap. But it's work....

i put my 2008.1 nav disc from my 08 m3 in the x3 and it says incorrect dvd disc. any know any fixes? or does the firmware need to upgraded????
