e30 touring on wheeler dealers

Great show, I've been waiting for them to do an e30 for a while now. Here it is:

I promise if I ever live overseas I will own one of these!

"This [the bmw e30] cost even more, but the amount of stuff it didn’t come with was astonishing. No, really. There was no radio and you had to wind the windows down by hand. It was just a light body and a big engine. And we all loved it more than we loved our genitals". -Jeremy Clarkson

it should just go from part to part automatically, at least it did for me. There are five parts to this episode overall.

they buy the car, fix whatever is wrong with it, and sell it at the end.

Saw both full programs on HDNET/Dishnetwork tonight. They only made 100pounds on the car but it was great to watch. The mechanic put a K&N on and claimed it made the car faster and sounded better ?? I remember some back and forth in another post with someone saying the CAI dosen't add anything on an E30 . But it was cool to watch and my wife thought i was in a trance while watching it . They mentioned a couple times that the E30 6 cylinder was the best engine BMW ever built.

i got the bavauto "filtercharger" kit, which is basically what they installed, for the first x-mas that I owned my e30. I know tons of people say that those don't make a difference, but I remember thinking it sounded better, and feeling the power on the butt-dynamometer. Thats all i needed ha.

yeah this has been out for a while, they just started showing it in the discovery channel, as well as the show Auto Trader they do another e30. Depending on how bad the intake filter is, if you put a new performance one itll return some of the lost power.

I saw that one too. Funny how a timing belt change given the car's unknown history wasn't mentioned.

I like the show because it highlights 'modern classic cars' unlike the government which just has them sent to the crusher for cash!

It's funny you mention the timing belt, because I was thinking about that at work today. Plus, as I was driving my e30 to work I thought to myself "theres no way everything in that car worked and all they needed to change was the exhaust and air filter."
