Missing Fuse??

was cleaning the car and had the fuse cover off, noticed a fuse was missing fuse # 12
going by the inside cover it says low beam
but there is one wire plugged into the socket
are they all like this, im curious

E46s have a dozen or more in the main fusebox that have a single pin providing power but no fuse and no wire going anywhere.

How did you come up with fuse 12?
It's fuse 42 slot which is not used.

it seems as though i am incompetent aswell, went back and looked it is number 42, i dont know where the hell i came of with number 12
and on the inner cover it says #42 is not used

Ron you are right, i dont know where i got 12 from, i saw the fuse missing with one wire connected and assumed something was missing

its above the passenger side headlight
