Our 07 get about 18 in suburban driving and maybe 23 to 24 on the highway. Our 04 with the 2.5 gets slightly less maybe 1 mpg for each the around town and highway driving. I can only assume the 2.5 has to work harder to provide the roughly the same performance. A few weeks ago I did a 1000 mile trip from Boston the PA to look a colleges with my daughter in her 04 and we averaged about 21.9 mpg for the trip. Not to bad as we did a fair amount of driving at 75 to 80 mph. We also found more than our fair share of traffic jams.

I have a 2007 and can squeeze ~23 mpg combined (but the driving is not much fun!)

I think 18-19 mpg combined is a reasonable expectation...

Mostly highway. I'd say about 80/20. Computer reads 19.2 MPG and I calculated 19 MPG. I wouldn't say my driving is conservative at all, but I don't floor it much unless I'm merging freeways or overtaking very agressively (maybe every 2 days).
