e30 automatic.

my 1987 e30 325i convertable is in bad shape. bought the car for a project while im in school at wyotech laramie. only has 126k miles. engine is still strong and im looking into turbos. just dont know what it take. reply ideas please. also the car was so cheap because the auto trans front seal leaked. its fixed and works great now. i want to manual swap it to. just dont really know what trans is the best that will fit my m20 engine. reply sugestions. as for body work. the paint is in alright shape. but its royalblau metalic. or purple. front end was wrecked and looks good but still has some flaws on the fender bumper ect. i can do body work but i cant paint. so any suggesetions on i good paint booth in california would help. i want alpine white paint. black interior. i want to throw that tan interior out and go with black all round black floor seats ect. so im looking for some heated seats that will fit the e30. reply ideas. the top is ripped. giving me a perminant sun roof. not good... i found a guy to do the top for about 300 buck to reapolster it but with same framing. im thinking i wanna get a design on the inner top. maybe the bmw logo or something. anyone know of cheaper tops let me know. thanks. by the way the trans is for sale. gimme offer

Transmission = Getrag 260. They're for sale on the forums all the time.
