Cracks

I have some cracks that are in the inside of the top and its starting to worry me since they were small about 4 months ago and now they are bigger. I know its from using the top more during the summer but what can I do to make sure the dont get bigger and all.

here are some pics of it and its on both sides

my 96 had them as well
they will end up comming through to the outside, its from the mechanical parts of the frame rubbing on it

im sure that by putting a piece of material, foam or something there will help by not allowing the metal to keep rubbing the cloth top
