Can you lock up your 'brakes'?

Why do you need larger brakes? Wheel upgrade? Tracking? Do you have vented rotors?

The breaking system that is currently on is the original stock and needs a lot of work done to it so i was looking into replacing most of the components. anything really to give it that performance edge.
