How many qts

06 x3 3.0 how many qts off oil it take on oil change with filter ?about too due my first oil change on it any think I should know ?

Are you out of warranty? You get a free oil change from the dealer for 4 years and up to 50K miles at their service interval of 15K or one year between changes.

Not the main reason for the high capacity - but with those long oil change intervals, higher oil capacity helps to make it possible, I would think.

Suggest you add 6 liters and then check your oil level before you add any more.

I did that, and was reading damn near full. As you know, over-filling is potentially very harmful.

Also don't forget to pour oil on the filter before you close the housing back up.
