I'm thinking that I have the M20B27 motor that the previous owner threw an 87 325i cam into. It was a "popular" swap since the newer cam was cheaper, more readily available and it made the 528e a bit more zippy.
However California Emissions inspectors turned up NOx numbers that were a bit too high. The spec is to adjust .010 but I'm thinking that .013-5 might help to leave unburnt fuel in cylinder enough to improve the numbers. Any thoughts? |
