whether pulling the mobilizer fuse out will activate the vehicle immobilizer?

Hi,

I was working on my 2002 X5 3.0i yesterday on a stalled engine problem. We disconnected the battery terminal and pull all the fuses out in the glove box to check. All fuses are OK. Now the engine can't crank at all. The radio etc. still working.

Anybody has any idea? Would appreciate your thought or input.

Regards,
Soon
