Command center light problem??
Methinks I must have gremlins in my 2003 540i's electrical system! (Has 98K miles on it.) A couple of years ago, some of the pixels disappeared in the command center area. Dealer fixed it. Now, part of it is brighter than the other parts. The left half is normal, but the right half is much brighter. Any ideas why?
Also, my headlights like to play games. For awhile, the halos on the passenger side were out. Dealer said I need new $60 bulbs. The local mechanic said the bulbs were fine, it was an electrical problem. This was when it was still under warranty, of course. Mysteriously, they decided to come back on and have worked for several months. A couple of days ago, I noticed the driver side is doing the same thing! And, I've also noticed my daytime running lights aren't on. The nearest actual BMW shop and/or dealer is over 100 miles from here. Anyone have any inkling as to what is going on here?
