Where can I find e38 trim?

I want to black out all of the chrome trim (around windows, down the sides and around the bumpers, the kidney grille will be purchased).... I've contacted quite a few shops in my area and everyone seems reluctant to paint them or pull them off.
Now, I've seen an all black 740il(mine is the alpine white w/black trim) with no chrome whatsoever on it and want mine the same- will I have to order all new trim in total black from BMW? Is there an aftermarket solution that wont cost me an arm and a leg?
Any help or advice would be appreciated!

i have just finisihed doing what u want to do. i did it my self and it turned out great. what u want to do will take a long time but it is well worth it. i am parting out a 98 and have most of the trim. if u want i can paint that and ship it to you and you can pull off the old and put the new stuff on.. ??? send me a email at 7partsonly@gmail.com
