What is a DISA?

That's the intake resonance valve or something, next to the celebrated Idle Control Valve.

Yes, that is the DISA flap. It stays closed at low rpm to make the effect of long, skinny runners in the intake manifold, which help build low end torque. It opens at high rpm to shorten the path of the intake runners, making maximum horsepower. The flap gets clogged with crud after time, and may stop working as it should. It should be cleaned when you get to higher mileage.

I took a audio of the engine idk if it matter but its a cold start and i know its a weird request but i was wondering if the engine sounds normal? Thanks in advance for your thoughts
