00 740iL - No speedo

My wife called and said that the speedo and mpg guage stopped working on our 2000 740iL. The mileage range readout is now freaking out as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Yes.. The problem is the ABS sensors is shorting out.

The combined ABS and speed sensor is located on the rear right wheel i believe.

(I hope you have had this issue fixed allready, so this is mostly for everybody else experiencing the same problem)

I Had The problem when I Replaced the wheel bearings and they put them in backwards and the speedometer didnt work and the abs light was on as well as the traction control. The sensor for all is in the wheel bearing itself.
