Help Please- how do you turn off DRL on 2006
Hey guys have a 2006 650i and really want to turn off the Daytime running lights but my idrive does not have the option. Any suggestions and how much will dealer charge?

yeah if mine was an 07 i would not have an issue its an 06 what does the dealer charge and can you hook it up to a vag and do it at a local bmw shop? let me know thanks

Im trying to get the low beams off, when i put it in auto during the day the low beams are on, any help would be appreciated

Take it to the Dealership, they turned mine off for free :-) (they were supposed to charge me $80 but eventually did it for free)

Well when I first ask my service guy over the phone he didnt know what year my 6 was he told me $80 then when he saw ne he just told me which was free and I posted pics of how I did step by step sorry but $80 bucks is worth it

sorry to hijack the thread... but I'm just curious... I personally WANT DRL in my cars... I think it helps visibility on the road (them seeing me) since it rains a lot where I am...
in your case, what is the driving reason for having DRL off... thanks for answering my curiousity...

For one they look horrible on with helos and the 2nd thing there not hid and they look yellowish when there on !!also drl take the stealty look away from car too and 3rd when it rains I run my lights not juts the drl lights you should too in this state it the law is when you turn your window wipers so should turn your light on
