Active Steering, Conv. Top Not Locked, & A Check engine Light!
I went and Drop my 2005 conv. off today to check the active steering malfuction, check engine light, and of course the top not locked message when it really is issue. This should be a nice hit in the pocketbook being that there is nomore warranty

Damn that sucks that all that happened at the same time. Hope it's not as bad as it may seem. Sometimes simple adjustments might be required to clear the alarms. Lets us know how it turns out. Good luck

so far since i've had my car, i've recieved the tranny issue message, an engine message, active steering malfunction- all i have done is turn off the car and turned it right back and all my messages have gone away; hope this continues

half the time when these messages appear at random it's due to low battery voltage... and it clears with turning off the car and restarting it...
I experienced numerous warnings in one day when my voltage was low and it hasn't happened since I've kept it on the battery tender all the time... but it sounds like the OP's problem is not related to battery as it persisted beyond a day... Good luck.... keep us posted

Just had the active steering fixed in my '05 under warranty on mine. Good thing as the service advisor said this is an extremely expensive repair.

You can tell when the active steering is out. The wheel is not centered going straight and the blinkers don't disengage on a turn.
