Friendly reminder to check your tire pressure
When you guys get a chance in the morning before you drive check your tire pressure manually if you haven't in the last couple months. Don't rely in the iDrive to warn you and since we have runflats it's hard to tell when we have low pressure. If they are low you will instantly feel the ride go back to where it should be. Also remember once you fill them back up to re-calibrate the monitor in the iDrive. It also saves uneven wear.
Drive on!

Good advise. I recently had my car service at the dealer and they removed the air and replace with nitrogen. They claim that it sits much better than the regular air, is much lighter and is less prone to leaks. Well, I am old fashioned in somethings and still have my air pressure gauge in the car to check it manually from time to time.

In thoery Nitrogren fills are better. The molucules are larger so the very very small leaks are less likely to be an issues (I see this as more marketing). The other benefit is that there is less moisture in a Nitrogen fill vs compressed air. This translates into more consistent tire pressure as temps fluctuate.

Well then, I guess I'm happy with it seeing I did not pay for it. My dealer did it for me seeing I had to shell out over $600 that day for a new rear tire, so they refill all four with nitrogen.
