I'm sick of snow. The muscles in my legs are diminishing from the lack of pedal pushing.

Moving sucks. so. bad. Friends with trucks will be here in a few hours.

but I'm looking forward to getting into my new place so I can start over.

Yeah, my credit is going to suck (so is hers). This will be the first late payment/delinquency on my credit report *ever*, so I'm hoping I can recover it to a point where I'm at least "lendable" in under 3 yrs. I've got no other debt and still love my car & motorcycle so I'm in good shape financially otherwise. Since we didn't refinance, I can walk away - no financial judgment can be made against me (no tax implications either).

Unfortunately California is a no fault/community property state so even though things were ...her fault..., she got away with my retirement .

Well, having been through divorce, bankruptcy and losing $100k bucks equity in the house we lost, I can tell you that what you are doing will be far less destructive to you credit. I bought a house 4 years later, so there is life after this. Hang in there! At least you have a nice E46 with the best interior I have ever seen!

That's why I took up running, so I could cross-train in the Winter. Riding in the stand is too boring for me. We've just begun a dry spell, so I will probably go for this ride tomorrow: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path...erritory385225 (an out and back over a fairly remote road with a very tough climb - 2 climbs actually - the South side, and then the North side on the way back home).

Nice looking ride but so close to Altamont...watch out for Angels with pool cues...

Anyone else find it strange that it is about 40 degrees at Daytona today. Those guys must be freezing at 198mph with the window down!

So what's her name?

In F1 they use tire warmers so the tires are basically operating temp when they leave the pitlane . Nascar doesn't so the tires are ambient temp. First few laps must be "exciting".
