Please forgive some of our more, um, sarcastic members.

Maybe you figured this out by now, but the 335/E92 coupe is the current version. The "new" redesigned coupes (F30) aren't coming out for another year or two. Post this question over in the E9x forum and you'll likely get some more useful answers.

Welcome to the forum.

The new redesigned F30 isn't coming out until probably 2012. BMWs go in 6-7 year cycles and we are about 4 years into the current cycle of the e92. You are getting an E92. They are talking about the next generation F30.

Correct. In the middle of a BMW cycle they come out with the LCI (life cycle improvement) version of the current car where they make some small tweaks to help boost mid-cycle sales and that is what you are getting.

Likely the sedan will come out in 2011 as a 2012 model followed by the coupe maybe in the fall of next year or spring 2012 as a 2012 or possible even 2013 model.

Here is the new F30 sedan. This is as far as anyone has seen of it yet. They put the funky camo on their test mules so you can't really see the true lines of the car.
