More information please...

Are you replacing your stock headunit with an aftermarket one and retaining the stock amp that's in the trunk? If so, you do nothing with the speakers. They're powered by the factory amp.

Check the WIKI as someone who's spent a lot of time ripping apart his car wrote up an explanation of the factory system as well as several options for upgrades... from minimal to maximal replacements.

I have a non HK (stock) system right now but I found a full set of HK speakers out of a 02 330i for sale so I was hoping to plug the HK speakers into my bmw head unit...is it possible?
