How do I remove the center console?

I've got the typical paint peeling problem with the center console on my 99 323i. Anyone know how to remove it without destroying it?

I really don't care.

I needed to replace my center console a few weeks ago as they don't age gracefully. My first reaction was to turn to google and look for instructions on the web. If I had asked for help on this forum, I would have been lucky to get any response other an observation that I should use the search button/read the wiki/etc.

You asked two questions today, and got essentially the same response on both: here's the answer but with the slightest effort you could have found it yourself.

You're new here. If I were you I'd change your attitude or no one will ever help you again. This is a friendly place where people go above and beyond to help each other out.

Laziness annoys regulars, who btw are most apt to help you, so make an effort and you will be rewarded. You might also want to read thru the WIKI which is chock full of useful information.

How's that saying go? Give a man a fish he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish he'll eat for a lifetime? Go fish!
