Is there a place to hook your ipod or your zune to the speakers...in the E60 2004 i have the 545i is there anyway to connect it to the idrive system.....help i dont want to ruin my car and put a stupid CD dash in for my music

You can get the Ipod retrofit kit and you can control and see your playlists on your idrive. Applications wont output sound through this interface though. The other option is to get the Aux input retrofit which allows you to connect anything that has a headphone jack on it. This will work with applications on the iphone like Flycast internet radio

Both options require the installation of the cable and programming by the dealer. I just did my aux and it cost me $440.
