how to turn on music title display......

i noticed when i have the radio on, it says the station name like KPCC and the number like 89.3. but when i have a cd playing, it does show the title of the song. is there a way i can make it show the title of the song and the seconds as its playing or thats a special feature? i have a 03 330i.

For the radio you press the RDS button, right side of #6, if I remember correctly. For the CD I can't say because I don't use CD's

But it's one or the other from what I know

The CD53 does have RDS, but what the OP is asking is for CD, which as Fast Bob stated CD-Text is not supported.
