the new bmw welcome kit looks like a botched high school presentation. aparently one of the booklets was printed a long time ago and since then bmw changed its drop off locations list. instead of reprinting the booklet they just glued a piece of paper with the new dropoff locations on top of the old ones.

i would expect such a crude fix on my high school presentations 12 ago years but not on a brocure from the makers of the ultimate driving machine.

Well, mine came yesterday. I must say it was a big disappointment. I guess the economy has really impacted everything. Even the luggage tag are a little cheap. But, what the heck, I'm getting a new BMW, going to take the trip of a lifetime with my wife and daughter and there is really nothing they could send me that would make it any better. I just hate the long wait until July 20th gets here.

If its such a disapointment and the tags are a little cheap, why don't you send them back?
cheers

BMW is a very green company. It would be a huge waste of resources to trash the brochures and reprint them, no?

maybe not trash them but recycle them. i don't care about the appearance of packet but i was surprised to see something like this from a luxury car company that sells some pretty expensive cars.

Mein Auto: E60 M5,
If the contents of the "Welcome Package" is critical then you should buy a Mercedes Benz. The amenities in their welcome package are what you would expect from a luxury car company. I have had them both and BMW does come across as "cheap joe". But we do not buy the car because of the amenities in the welcome package. So quit whining.
