Starkraven, please follow up with the end results when you inform USAA of the fact that you are doing an ED. I also have my home and auto insurance, credit card and have had auto loans with USAA in the past --- very satisfied.

My first ED is coming up in mid-May and I was thinking about checking into USAA. BMW is currently offering 3.9 on the 2010 M3 --- I wonder (but doubt) that BMW will have that rate available for the '11 model I am picking up though.

Will do. I talked with BMWFS about financing for the 2011 M3, and they couldn't get close in-house. I think a little under 4.9% is what they could do. Incidentally, they ran the numbers comparing payments for 60-month purchase, a lease, and the owner's option balloon note, and they were all within a dozen dollars of each other. (I'm not sure, but I think the lease and ballon were 36 months.)
