Question Driver's side window/switch glitch

Anyone have the following issue. My roommate with an E36 M3 and I both experience this from time to time.

On pushing the window up button, the one-touch-up option will occasionally roll the window up a certain ways, and then back down a 1/2 inch or so. Some times it will roll it up without doing this, other times I will push the button 4 times just to get it to go up the full ways. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Yes, it is a pretty common in E36 cars.

Mine does it from time to time.

It is even common for it to happen continously.

You figure a $40K car could have windows that work as well as a Ford Tauras?!?!?!?! So much for German quality.
