Heater Control not working? 528i 1998

My heater control stopped working. I'm not sure if its the entire panel because all the buttons still light up orange when exterior lights are on, and the controls for the heated seats still work. The digital display doesn't turn on anymore, and the buttons don't control anything they also don't light up green when depressed. If its just a blown fuse, what fuses am I looking for and what panel are they on? Or maybe its a more expensive fix. Any suggestions? It's blowing hot air from the front window defrost on occasion, and its going to be summer soon.

1. Could be FSR: Do a search on FSR or FSU.
It this is the case, then a BMW FSR is about $70.
Very easy DIY with simple tool.

2. The HVAC Panel can be bad, but it is rare.
Give the FSR a try first.
