X6 2011 ordering information

Hello,

I am in great need for 2011 X6 35i ordering information like: changes in the packages, prices, etc.
Dose rear climate still an added option or it becomes included in other packages?

I ordered a 2011 x6 50i, with out the rear climate option. It is still a stand alone option. Sat radio is now included with premium sound but DVD is out. Also there is a camera package which include backup with top view and side view cams. I have the MY2011 Canada ordering guide, which i believe to be the similar for US as well. In February. And there was a minor update/correction released last week.

I do. However, it is on paper in the form of a rather mediocre fax. It's very similar to the X5 documents, which have been posted in a couple places. I could probably answer specific questions...

Oh, okay. I called my CA and he is trying to get me the ordering guide but could you please let me know what the wheel options are for the 35i and the 50i ... I think there were some changes ...

Currently (MY 2008 - 2010) ...

X6 xDrive35i:
standard wheel is style 232
standard wheel with sport package is style 212
optional 20" wheel with sport package is style 214

X6 xDrive50i:
standard wheel is style 257
standard wheel with sport package is style 258
optional 20" wheel with sport package is style 259

I don't know the standard wheel for the 35i - I only have the order guide pages for the 50i because that was the only model I was interested in. The option pages show both models.

MY 2011
X6 xDrive35i:
standard wheel with sport package is style 212 (no change)
optional 20" wheel with sport package is style 214 (no change)

X6 xDrive50i:
standard wheel is style 257 (no change)
standard wheel with sport package is style 258 (no change)
optional 20" wheel with sport package is style 336

Thanks! I am planning on a 35i and love the 214's ... I was beginning to like the 259's too but I had my fingers crossed that the 214's weren't going away. And the 336's look great too!

I agree - love both those styles. Sounds like you're getting the sport package w/ the 20" wheels. Me too, so I'll have the 336's.

Yup, that's the plan! It seems a little crazy to me to get an X6 without Adaptive Drive.

I concur wholeheartedly on the Adaptive Drive. Take one with and without it through a set of twisties and the decision is made!

My order hasn't gone in yet. We're still working out the details of hitch installation and PCD. And I'm still on the fence as to whether or not to get the Active Cruise. I'm getting Vermillion Red with Black Nappa and the dark burl wood. Hopefully this will all get worked out and the order placed within the next week.

What color are you getting? Is your order in?

Sounds very nice!! I don't think I am going for Active Cruse either. I just don't think I would use it very much to justify the price. I am also not going for Active Steering. I am attempting to keep the car at $70K ish and the silly options can really add up!

I am still a couple months away from placing my order (thinking the beginning of June) but I am leaning towards Alpine White with Chateau leather and Aluminum trim. I keep going back and forth between color combos ... there are just so many nice combos ... and I am planning on PCD too!

Guys, can you help me out - Adaptive drive is the option that allows a change of settings between comfort and sport so in the comfort setting the ride is not as harsh? Is this right? And active steering is what?

The search function here (and at xoutpost.com) is very powerful. You'll find lots of info on those topics.

Anyone have a picture of the Style 336 wheels? Same ones that are on the facelifted X5 50i, by chance?
