Spied: Finally - Proof the M1 1-Series is Coming!

As any Bimmerfest reader knows the news about the BMW M1 or ///M 1 series has been mixed. We've seen plenty of spy shots of wide fendered 1 series but we've also heard news from "BMW sources" saying the only uprated 1 we were going to see would be an "IS" uprated 1er following the lines of the recently released 335is with equipment like what we saw on the 1 series Tii.

With these spy pictures we can put the speculation to bed. This test mule of the M1 clearly shows the signature ///M quad exhaust, vented M diff cover and M suspension.

It looks like Munich is giving us a heads up that we should expect the M1 coming soon. Who has a guess on which auto show we're going to see this beast released?

damn, what kinda set up do you think they're puttin in, a naturally aspirated monster (like the m3), or their twin turboed (fml i cant spell) inline 6 kinda like what they're puttin in the 335is

with the proper loss of weight, this thing is gunna be amazing, im definitely lookin forward to this one

I don't think there was ever a question as to if it was coming, just what it would be called.
