Possible to disable anti-pinch system?
Since tinting the windows, the dealer cant seem to get the anti-pinch system adjusted so that the increased drag of the tint doesn't engage the anti-pinch system every time I roll the windows up. Is it possible to just disable the anti-pinch system all together? Its gotten pretty frustrating to have to bump the switch 15 times to get the windows up now that warmer weather is here.

That is strange, sorry to hear that is happening. I had my windows tinted also but haven't experienced any problems. I never would have thought there would be potential issues with a tint job!
Perhaps bend back the rubber inside seal to see if you can permanently reduce the amount of tension it puts on the tint? Or "lubricate" the inside edge of the same seal with Armor All so it glides over it better? Best I can think of. |

Yeah I was equally surprised that that small amount of difference in drag caused that much of an issue as well.
I have to have the car back into the dealer once my replacement door sill is in, and I'll have them give the adjustment a 3rd try but I may attempt to lubricate the rear runner a bit to decrease the friction but we'll see what happens.
