Disapointed with the bimmerfest 2010.

Some of the pics posted at biummerfest look very ghetto. I am surprised they even let those cars into the show. Or maybe it is not the show I thought it was. Maybe it is just a giant parking fest.

Well.. for the average person. As for me it's cheaper for me to maintain any euro car.

+1. BMW's still have a very high barrier to entry, which is maintenance. Any fool can jump into a thousand dollar bmw, but I guarantee if they can't maintain it or pay someone else to maintain it, they'll basically own a large 1:1 scale static display model. The marque's elite status remains.

Right, but what you guys are missing is that these kids (like the ninja turtles mascot) do not maintain their cars. They think changing oil is the only thing to do to their cars, besides adding alligator armrests, and tacky stickers/materials all over their cars. I guarantee their cars drive like piss. It is unfortunate people like that are buying these cars

Absolutely nothing except maintenance costs which was my point. I just believe that in the automotive world, BMW's will continue to garner respect regardless of the folks mentioned in this thread.

People complained about the prices...it's the same thing at sporting events. Overpriced drinks and food...

You don't go to these events for the food. You go for the cars and the food is just there in case you want some.

Not to mention the lime-ade

I dont see how the last few years i was able to get a big ass margarita for $5, though here with so many people they have to charge almost double. If this is the standard, then i would encourage members to bring a grill and some meat next year and sell concessions, undercutting the ridiculous pricing of the vendors. Ill be there selling cigarettes and beers for $5-6 next year.

There's a mexican place in Agoura Hills called Latigo Kid's. They have bad-ass margaritas there for $5. The food isn't bad either!!!

No kidding that must be the SLOWEST E36 in the world. 318 AUTO convertible with 22" chrome wheels, i'm sure he has 18 k-mart subwoofers/speakers, not to mention a few hundred pounds of vinyl and fiberglass
