Hi guys!
I sold my 645 Cabrio and bought a 745 Diesel. With Individual interior and color. BMW Individual Merino leather in Champagne and Diopside black metallic. There is also rear entertainment system, with 6-DVD changer. Wheels are Breyton Race GTR in 21".. Looking forward to get 22" multipiece. Can't tell by the pics, but, is your door "chrome" trim fading like mine? Mine looks more like white rusted aluminum at this point, maybe its all the car washing, I dunno, but it's ugly. I'm going to "black it out" with with vinyl tape and see how it looks. should also be better than the Sport model black trim----that paint looks like a rainbow oil sheen in the sun. I'm waiting on tires to put my 22" DaVini's back on so I'll update "my garage" in a few weeks. Anyway....nice ride!

yep, sorry... meant for the black one but you have the same wheels...awesome!! Looks like you have E66 so they may have fixed the problem with the trim. Mines an 04 and I had the same problem on my 02 with the trim turning to crap in a few years. Replaced under warranty which the dealer said BMW will do ONCE. I think the car wash has something to do with it, but, I'm going to use the vinyl tape to black it all out at this point.

04 745i Hello!
What a great site to kick around issues, ideas, and share experieces. Since the day I drove the 325i bought for my wife, I was hooked on the driving experience of a BMW. Now, on my 3rd 7 Series....08, 02, and now an 04. If you apprecieate the engineering, then it pays you back handsomely. Hi tech also comes with potential for more things to go wrong, but, this company is continually making things better. This is only car that has ever put a smile on my face and makes me feel like a million bucks driving down the road. Alternatives??? Lexus LS 460, Mercedes S550, or Audi A8. Anyone ever tried them out and what was your experience??

Hi!
First of all, English isn't my mother language, so I try to write easy and clearly enough. I'm new to the forum and I thought to introduce my 760Li beacause there aren't very many of them here, on the forum. Recently I've been driving my 2006 Audi A6 3.2FSI quattro, until now. Thought it was the right time to change my car and the easiest way to do it, was selling my old one and taking fathers BMW. As they say, one man's old is another man's new and now I'm driving a BMW.  My father actually bought it in 2004 as new and in 6 years he has driven about 85k miles, which isn't very remarkable mileage for 6-litre V12. In overall, everything works fine, the car is luxurious, smooth, powerful and very good to drive, ofcourse it is, because it's a BMW Used have 20" Individual wheels but at the moment I drive on 19" spoke style 176, due to our sh**ty roads. For the winter I have 19" star spoke 95. Well, I'm happy with my trade and I can finally enjoy the real engineering masterpiece. Less talk, more pictures.

Does anyone else on the forum run those 22" vertini's that Olebrumm (post #1226) has? I think i may have to get those....with bmw center's of course
