Am I getting ripped off?
I went to the MINI dealer near me that was supposed to have this pre-owned 2007 MINI S (17,586 miles) for $19900. This is the link to the car on the dealership's site:http://www.habberstadmini.com/VehicleDetails/635680453 , and as you can see it is listed at $22900. The dealer brought it down to $19000 and when I brought up this discrepancy, he just brushed it off. So, what do you guys think? Does it seem like a legitimate error or am I getting a bad deal? Also, are the maintenance and rim and tire insurance plans worth it on this car? I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Can you explain where the $19,900 price comes from?

Yes, the $19900 was the price listed on the official MINIUSA.com website. If you search for a MINI Cooper S Hardtop in the 11507 zip code, you will find a blue MINI S with 17586 miles priced at $19900 at Habberstad BMW.

I don't think you can complain too much once they offered it to you below the $19,900.
No input on the wheel/tire insurance though, sorry. |

For the price I would check the usual places, Edmunds, KBB, nadaguides, to make sure the dealer is in line. I would not worry about rim/wheel insurance but I would get ride of the runflat tires as soon as possible. They are very pricey to replace and the ride they give you is awful.

I think it's an okay deal. You aren't getting ripped off.
