BMW #1 in global premium-brand car sales for May 2010
Mercedes-Benz announced that it defeated Audi in global monthly sales for the first time this year mainly because it registered a record growth in China.
But it appears that the sales were not high enough, as Bmw remains on the 1st place with just 375 units ahead of its rival from Stuttgart. Bmw remained No. 1 in global premium-brand car sales in May and continues to be the leader in Germany. For those who don’t know. The Bavarian manufacturer is the leader in Germany since January! Regarding Mercedes-Benz, it appears that the sales of this manufacturer improved due to strong demand for the E- and S-Class models. Volkswagen AG, passed Mercedes-Benz in January and forced it to remain in the No. 3 spot every month since.
