BMW X1 Caught On VIDEO In SoCal

**Thanks to Bob, A.K.A. MBKing

When I get things like this in the mail, I know that AutoSpies has the best user base.

Although our dear user Bob thought he captured what appeared to be a 2012 BMW X3 fully uncloaked, he was sadly mistaken; it is an X1.

Rightfully so, Bob confused the car with the X3 because they do share a lot of same traits. For example, the size is probably pretty close to the current-generation X3 and the car bears an upwards trending window line a la the next-generation X3. Additionally, It appears that the X1's mirrors are the same as those on the X3 as seen on the official BMW pre-release shots that we put up yesterday.

But the difference is clear in the headlights and front chin spoiler. Close but no cigar. Wompwomp.

Rumors have placed the X1 in the States after the upcoming X3 since the 3 will be moving upmarket.
