What to look for? Driving F10 Tomorrow

So I'm checking out the F10 tomorrow via the ultimate driving event or whatever they call it.

Anyway, I'm a mostly happy owner of a '08 535 sport whose lease has about 7 months to run.

Anything I should particularly be checking out? Unfortunately, I don't get to do the MB comparison-- already 'sold out' when I reserved.

When I did the UDE, we tested back to back with the MB and Lexus. They had a pretty long and twisty course where we really got to acclerate and beat the car around the curves, etc. The one thing I didn't do that I wish I had was to check /compare the braking. Other than light braking going into the curves, I didn't slam on the brakes to see how it handled under those conditions.

From my experience, not many people wanted to drive the competition. They were more BMW buyers who wanted to see what the latest car was like (I only drove the BMWs). I'm sure you'll get to drive the competition if you like.

As to what to look for, look at what is important to Stevej2001. It's going to be your car, so focus on what your priorities are, not the priorities of others.

I am going to drive an F10 on Friday (Connecticut), I asked to compare it to an A6. I would like to compare the amount of space in the back seat, quality of the interior, driveability and an overall feel. I have not seen an F10 in person yet, so that will be a first one for me. I might jump into the Lexus for a minute or two, but not the MB... If they have a GT, I would like to see that in person as well.

No drive for me...

I started this thread but no longer need it (for now). Somebody was shot in the dealership parking lot. The site is now a crime scene.

Or rather this one (BMW 5 Security) Let us know how it drives and if the AK-47 vs. the windshield demo was included.
