BMW M5 and M6 testing on Nurburgring - Video

We get a great turbo woosh from the M5 as it takes off as further confirmation the next generation M5 and M6 will be twin turbo V8 power monsters. Rumors of almost 600 horse power are floating around, the real number is more likely to be 560-580, which is still more than enough power to put most super cars in the rear view mirror.

Visually the M5 is going to be a beefed up F10 5 series with the now standard ///M wheel arches, quad exhaust, fender grills and M badges on just about every panel.

The M6 will also be visually distinguished from the yet to be seen next generation 6 series. It seems like the testing video show here is further proof the M6 will make it into production and the disturbing rumors the the M6 had been canceled were just rumors.
