Invoice prices

Anyone here clarify something.? When there is talk about "invoice" prices, are they the invoice prices from websites like Edmunds.com and other sites like it or is it 7-8% of MSRP. I've ALWAYS used websites like edmunds.com for invoice pricing and have used it for all the vehicles I've bought. The BMW dealerships will talk like they know what you mean by "invoice," but then when you get to nailing down specific numbers, even though you were very clear on what number you were using, act like they don't know.... hilarious. Anyway, I've checked up on the dealers I'm dealing with, and each of their "invoice" prices are different on the same car.... so that leads me to think that there is more padding going on there also, instead of their being truth in "BMWs invoice price is the same on a given car despite which dealership it goes to."

I'm running out of patience... might have to walk and come back another day.

Why don't you just make an out the door offer on a specific spec'd car?

Where are you located in Mn.?
You might consider European Delivery as another option.

Twin Cities. I'd LOVE to do the ED thing. It sounds like so much fun. However, I pick my vacation a year in advance with my job, so I won't have any usable vaca around the time an ordered car would be done. Next time, I think I'll do the ED route.
