FS: 2003 BMW M3 26K miles orig owner MINT

2003 BMW M3

I realize it is poor form to post a "for sale" item as a first post but I am helping my 84 year old father sell his M3. I am a long time Porsche guy (30+ years) and long time member of Rennlist, Pelican, Early S registry and have only owned one BMW! In any event, on to the ad.......

I am happy to present an all original 2003 BMW M3 in Alpine White with 26K original miles. This is an original owner car special ordered and purchased through Brecht BMW and always garaged in inland San Diego county. The owner of this car (my father) is an 84 year old career carrier-based naval aviator who has taken meticulous care of this car as well as the numerous other BMWs and Porsches that he has owned over the past 40 years. We have retained every receipt, reg sticker, and document since the car was purchased including the window sticker (see pics below) and all manuals.

This car was special ordered with the following options:

1. Sunroof delete

2. Sequential manual gearbox (SMG)

3. Xenon headlamps

4. Cinnamon leather interior

5. Navigation system

Of course the car also includes the standard M3 features including the potent M3 engine, dynamic stability control, M variable differential lock, gas pressurized front struts, M alloy wheels, flat tire monitoring system, air bags all around, head protection system, heated mirrors, on board computer, CD player w/ 10 speakers, etc. All of the features and options can be seen on the original window sticker pictured below. As one can see the original purchase price was $55.2K.

As can be expected of a meticulous, mature owner the car is in immaculate condition and needs nothing, with the only flaws being some "curb rash" on right side wheels (see pic below). All maintenance has been performed. The car has been carefully driven and cared for. While it may sound cliché, this is likely the best original 03 M3 available on the market today.

I have taken many hi-res pictures but my amateur photography skills do not do this car justice. Note that the car has not been "detailed" to try and hide any flaws... this is the way it looks when dropped in to take the pictures. It truly needs to be seen to be appreciated.

While I am helping with the sale (including logistics and all price negotiations) due to the declining health of my parents, you will be buying the car from (and paying) my father (the only registered owner and driver of this car since new). I am not a middle man or broker, just a son protecting my parents interests. Please no low ball offers as we are not in a hurry to sell the car; If you are looking for a $20K M3, there are many well worn cars on eBay that might suit your needs.

The vehicle is located in the north county (inland) area of San Diego. Pre-purchase inspection (at your expense) is welcome and all records are also available from Brecht BMW.

PRICE = $32,500

your 84-year old father drives an e46 m3? G-d bless him! Wonder what he's trading up to--a 911?

Ha! When he bought the M3 at age 77 I had a bit of chuckle but speed demons seem to never die! He had 911 several 911s from 1970 to 2000 (I have the 73 911 he purchased new in Dec 72 and I drove to my HS prom in 79!).

M3 is sold (pending wire transfer) to the first person that came to see the car. It truly was an exceptional example in PERFECT condition. My parents are now putting their equally mint 05 BMW 545 w/ sport package up for sale as a new 550 is on order.

Thanks for all the interest!

...Roger
