Hmm, so they got rid of the front 'bargeboards' but left the rears. Why is the new front end so busy? 8 openings (10 if you include fogs) and a bunch of horizontal lines.

Too bad it is probably twice the cost of my 330Ci.

That's the ugliest steering wheel I've ever seen.

The front on this makes the Cayenne look good. That's saying something.

Why anyone would buy this over a V10 Touareg is a mystery to me.

Yep- that steering wheel really sucks-- I think its the same wheel that will be on the x3. I wonder if the 3s will also be defiled w/ that wheel.
THe front is busier than before and looks worse (although I guess i should be getting used to this trend by now). The larger kidneys add nothing-- they just look out of proportion as they do on all the other new BMWs w/ oversized kidneys. I guess the overall trend w/ these designs is to make them more

Well, at least the 4.8 modifications make it look better than the 05 3.0. The grille (yuck) isn't proportional to the headlights (nice), and I agree with the busy front-end. Why did BMW use a Saturn ION steering wheel?
