A X5 50i would be more than sufficient... Not sure why your bringing the 4.8i up, since the new X5 50i has a 4.4 Twin Turbo powerplant.. I believe 0428 is right when he says the 50i "will spank its ass"

FX50 hp= 390 w. 370lbs Tq
X5 50i hp= 400 w. 450lbs Tq
X5m hp = 550ish w. 500lbs Tq

Army, sorry the 4.8, were the figures I wanted right at hand. The thesis was was mainly based on the weight difference, that 900 pounds is a lot when you have virtually the same hp. I would love to have Edmunds or someone do a "shootout" between the X5 5.0, the FX50, Cayenne GTS and the ML550. The "big guys", X5M, ML63 AMG, Cayenne Super Turbo etc., are priced way beyond reality IMHO. The next tier down are what you will probably see the most of on the road.
