car is dead!

hi all, dont know if anyone can help. I am new to this forum and need some help.

We have got an M3 on a 53 plate. went to go out this morning, put key in ignition, turned on and all lights came on. went to turn the car over and everything went out, and i mean everything!! I have now got no central locking, nothing on the dashboard, nowt.

Have spoken to BMW service they think might be faulty ignition switch or battery error, but my hubby says that battery is brand new.

Anyone else got any advice/ideas?? dont really wanna pay BMW to do their diagnostics on the car if we can help cos we would have to pay to get it towed there as well!

Charge the battery and give it a try.

Mine died today..... It is at the dealer and he is getting ready to ram my ass with a broomstick.

Sounds like dead battery.

If the battery really is new, and the car gets driven a reasonable amount, have someone check the charging system.
