Very nice! Hey I recently went from 3 coupe to x5 as well. Don't worry you'll forget about your 3 in a couple weeks...

Congrats!
Did you get it from Peter Pan by any chance? I was driving north on El Camino on Saturday afternoon passing Peter Pan and I saw a new X5 premium in space gray making a left turn. Was that you?

Have any more pics of the interior? I bet the Oyster looks quite nice, against the Space Grey.
I went back and forth between it and the Sand Beige. Didn't think I could keep the Oyster clean. Enjoy. |

The coupe is cozy and agile, but hey, look at the view, huh?

Dude I think that was me! I didn't get it from Peter Pan (got it at BMW SF), but I was on El Camino late Saturday afternoon going to a friend's house...left turn into whole foods to pick up cake...small world.

very luxurious looking. To (partly) forestall any dirt issues I got the "touch of class" thing, where they coat the interior and exterior...hope it works.

Interior Pics
Here are some pics of the oyster interior (dark bamboo wood). They should just call it off-white, 'cause I've never eaten any oysters that are this milky-white colored.
It's a sweet car, but I just have to face facts -- a giant SUV is just not as exhilarating and fun to drive as a low-riding 3 series...but alas, hard to fit two kids and all their stuff in a 2 door coupe

Love that oyster interior - sweet color combo.

SF, that is beautiful! Really love the two-tone effect from the black trim areas to go with the white. I decided to go with the comfort seats so I picked the sand beige since there were only 2 choices. But I would definitely pick the interior color you got if I could have.

By the way, it's been over 100 here in Dallas for about the last 37 years it seems, so it's been kind of fun to have the Alpine white with the Oyster. Seems cooler just looking at it.... Cheers |

Sorry about that, you're right. What I meant to say was that I got the comfort seats as part of the "Active ventilated seat package," and the ventilated seats only have sand beige or black options. I totally would have gotten oyster if I hadn't gotten perforated!

I still rember the feeling of throwing that through a corner and it cornering flat. Shame it was too small in the back for my kids (10 & 15) I too wish I could have both, but untill now I haven't won the Lotto....

It's growing on me more, I've been putting it in Sport mode and throwing it into some corners when the fam's not in it, and it corners really well for such a big car, certainly there's no other SUV I'd want to own (well may be an X5 M).
We are in love with the Oyster interior...glad I convinced my wife
