Wired up amplifier/subs

shortly after getting my E38, the stock subs in the rear shelf blew out. so i took the entire box they sit in out, so to make a pass through from the trunk into the cabin.

i had purchased a subwoofer box that houses two 12 inch subs. its been connected to the stock amp wiring for quite some time, just couldnt do with only mids and highs.

anyways, i've had an amp and crossover for some time but no line out converter, which i bought today. i wired the line out converter to the stock amp wires that originally went to the stock subs. i do plan to get a better amp and subs though, but for now this is nice and sounds not stock. i used a wire on the stock amp for a remote turn on wire, was said that could be used on someone elses post on another site. i found the instructions from E38.org, that led me to another forum. worked out great. has to be the easiest car to wire and amp in i've ever done.

now i just need to clean up the wires and kind of hid them or tuck them away. but for now, this is just fine for me. its not really messy or anything. anyone else done their or amp wiring? i may just show some pictures so to encourage others to do so since it is so easy.

Would you be able to show which wire you used? I did the same and it was suggested I use a solid white wire from the amp. I did, but my battery has been draining ever since.
I took it off.
TIA

Yep I used a white wire. No power from it when the car is off o mine. If I have time tomorrow I'll take some pics.

Also I think I need a new crossover. I did get it to work though and sounds good. But im going tomorrow to look at speakers, crossovers and amps because I really want new stuff. All this I used was old stuff I've had, except the wiring is new.

Well didn't remember the pics but I'll get some later

Anyways I decided the subs I had were insufficient, as well as the outdated crossover and amp. My buddy gave me a pretty awesome amp. It's modern and has it's own crossover. The subs I got at a pawn shop for about $100, got a warrantee on them also. Now it really sounds like I did something.

Any luck finding that camera and snapping a few of the wire used to keep the sub amp off when the radio is off?
I've tried a few things but still have dead battery after a couple of days not using the car. When the sub amp fuse is pulled no battery issues.
TIA
