iPhone 4 to play music

I have a new iPhone 4 and it works great via Bluetooth with my 645ci, but I'd like to access my music on the phone. Incidentally, I also have the center console cradle for the 3GS. I know I'm not going to be able to use the cradle unless I modify it or go to the dealer for a new cradle when it comes out.

Hope someone can give me some direction on this because I need my tunes! Lol.

You need an ipod adapter/kit for your car.

Is this the y adapter I keep hearing about? Will that replace my CD changer? What about cost? Sorry for all the questions but I need all the advice I can get?

You can do it.

NOW... the dealer will most likely need to reprogram your iDrive for the iPod kit. That cost me $300. So in total I paid around $600 for the kit and the reprogramming.

Is there not a different snap in adapter I can use? I currently have the one for 3GS 84.21-2 151 038-03.

I heard the iPhone 4 snap in is not out yet. Coming soon I suppose. Doesn't hurt to ask the dealer; if it is available, you can get a part number from them and head to eBay...

I have the ipod adapter but it would not let my iphone 4G to play music on its ipod. Is there a way for that? Or it should work?
