Something else broke
The passenger mirror makes weird clicking sounds and bounces back and forth when I put the car in reverse.
What good timing, I needed a free carwash from the dealership anyways =)

That's normal
I did not like that function so I turned it off by switching mirror controller to R(passenger side). It won't do it again. BMW put that as to aid park in reverse.
